on february 8, 1937, tens of thousands of people left the city of malaga for almeria through the tunnels that linked cala del moral with el rincōn de la victoria. the fascist army attacked the tunnels by sea and air. the sound of the shells destroying the rocks, the screams, the landslides now do not sound but the storm of the sea hitting the rock makes that memory reverberate in our consciences.
