the roots of my maternal surname, Imbernón, of viking origin gave me the idea to name my project. "imber" comes from "Ingver", and means son of the god "Ing", the Scandinavian god of nature and fertility. on the other hand, I found out that in spain there is evidence of him in "los imbernones", an old viking settlement in the murcia region. In this way, and honoring my ancestors, I decided that the project should be called "imber - moves", emulating the conquest of spaces through movement.

I remember one of my first experiences as if it were yesterday ... there it was, before my eyes, asking me to inhabit it ... it just appeared, it contained everything and nothing, textures, colors, architectures and at the same time the most absolute "void" of a forgotten place . this was one of the most relevant experiences of imbermoves.

a place and a body in movement are ecosystems in themselves. they converge and dialogue as if it were a particular garden of delights (flowerheads 2021 or 87grillos 2009) or an abyssal background from which an unpredictable language emerges (shy blue 2017) apparently immobile (sphinx Fish 2017).
